- Shortly after I was born I became very ill and was flown to Denver Children's Hospital, I was placed on a list for a liver transplant. When I was 3 months old I received a new liver, but due to complications I was again placed on the transplant list. At 9 months old I received my second transplant.
I was in the Children's Hospital for my first year of my life, and weighed 10 pounds on my first birthday.
Through God's help with medical miracles I am alive today.

- Hi there, I've been on the waiting list for almost two years now. For a liver. Hopefully I'll never get one. Only because they think mine should last me the rest of my life. But if something like cancer comes up I'm on the list and ready to go. It functions on the border line. i take some meds and watch my diet, lots of blood tests and ct's. But I'm doing great. Hope you never have to worry too much. Enjoy life because you never know how it's going to turn out. No one gets out alive. lol. take care of yourself and have fun. Nice to meet you. Steve

Your E-lytes can really get whacked when your dehydrated~~make sure you're drinking good fluids...gatorade, herb teas, water, V-8 stuff like that...good you're going to get checked out on the 11th. So you keep your living area in a deep freeze eh? Did you say you live in El freezoville Texas lol...
Oh I am doing good health wise...I have had 3 transplants 1990 kid/panc 1992 'wifes' kidney and the newest arrivals kid/pancreas 8/4/09...At 50 (how did I get there) I am really healthy.
My wife and I live in the North East corner of Oklahoma and we were both raised in Northern Calif...we have been in Ok for 3 years now and we like it a lot :)
