I want to attend, but at times feel that it is poorly done. Plus this money arm twist that is going on. Several are unsure about what is going on, plus a lot of non-communication and unknowns. I was wanting to fly myself to celebarate my achievement…

My Sister's Keeper

Just went to see the movie and I must say it is a GREAT movie. I was teary eyed 10 minutes into it but there are some funny parts but overall I would recommend people go to see it.

I Come From the Land Down Under!

I thought this song was fitting to me (Team USA) traveling to the land down under. I plan on making a dvd of my trip and putting this song on it when we return.

Mike - Thank you - this waiting is hard, I wish that we could be told as we move up or down the list - being in "holding" zone is hard. I continue to feel good - for that I am incredibly thankful! Teresa

Hey Mike!
The clinic went good the other day. They reduced my cellcept, woo hoo!! less medicine is always a good thing to me. That would be cool if you start helping out at NZTI. Maybe we'll see you around there on one of my next appointments. Seems like I'm always going for a check up for something. Liver, lungs, tumor, endocrine... My next appointments at Baptist isn't until July so you'll have to let me know if you are helping out. I would love to keep in touch. I haven't met a lot of people who have been through the experience of transplants. It's definately something to share. What do you do for fun, for a living? Are/did you go to college? Ok I guess I'll quit rambling now. Maybe I should start doing this by email...ttyl!
Take Care, Kayla

Hi Mike,
The pancreas is a nurse named Crystal who I know well. I will email her and if you give me your email...I can ask her if I can give you her email.
I believe we will use most of UW sports buildings

Forgot to add to my last comment....you probably already know that the kidney/pancreas girls in your photo are nurses from Madison. Tee Hee

Hi there Mike,
I know a few of the venues....but they are slow to leak the info. Hahaha
Let me know what sports you are interested in and I will find out the venues...eventually.
Do keep in touch though..because I really want to have something like a Transplant Cafe get together for everyone here(during the games). You will like Madison. Its not a big city like Pittsburgh, but has lots to offer. A lot of my photos are of Madison...my favorite bike trail, ice-skating place etc. I feel like you....that I am so blessed to now be able to go anywhere and do anything. (which is why my current pic is from Costa Rica zipline...in March/April this year.)
Anyway.....have fun in Australia.

Hi, Mike Thank you for your words. It's "funny" to me that the one recipient of my daughter's organs that I have met recieved the same organs from her that you got from your donor, and you are from our town! That dosen't happen every day.

hey Mike! sorry i've been out of the loop for a while. we've had a bunch of family in and i've been doing babysitting!!! ahhh! lol but we finally got the house back to normal and there's peace and quiet again. I'm hoping all goes well on Thursday too. I'm not sure which lady is Barb in the lab. I've had my blood drawn so much up there they know me and my veins well.... I'm a hard stick sometimes. i have thought about going to watch the transplant olympics but not participating in them yet... not sure what all there is to do. My sister in law is suppose to pop with my new baby nephew any day now so i've been trying to help her out as much as possible. I'm super excited. I have one nephew who is 4, Jayden, he's my little buddy. I can't wait for this one to come along. Do you have any nieces or nephews?

Thanks, Mike. It is kind of fun. I'm going to play with it for a while. I'm so wired up, I wasn't sure I could take on another e-commitment. You need to hit the rack and take care of that K/P. Only ole folks like me are allowed to stay up this late. Talk to you later. Phil

Hi, and thank you for the friend request. It's great to always see fellow K/P brothers and sisters. Wishing you and yours all the very best always. Take care, God bless. Mike
