- When i got the call i was soo suprised and happy, sad and scared all in one my emotions ran wild, I am wanting to get it over with but then again i dont i am tired of all the pain i am in but thinking about the pain that is waiting for me around the courner is scary tooo I just hope it all goes well

4 Months and doing fine
Hi everyone sorry i haven't been on i guess you can say i have been feeling better so i haven't spent a lot of time in front of the computer. post transplant 40 days
today is the 40th day since i received my new liver. There has been a lot of ups and downs in the past 40 days but let me tell you that within a few weeks of getting out of the hospital I can tell the difference in the way i feel, think, and want to live. I went through 4 surgeries to get my new liver, after the first surgery they had to re open me up because I was not breathing well due to increased fluid, and they took out the breathing tube out to soon. Just got back from clinic
Hi thought i would give a little update.. I went to utah on the 15th for blood work and scan and clinic appointment, i was put on the waiting list june 12th and this was my first clinic since being on the list so i got my meds to take when i get the call, and everything explained to me and got my labs back and my afp went from 1983 to over 3000 since the 2nd of june, so that has me and the Docs worried big time... although they didnt find a tumor once again on my scan, they say that they dont kn… Continue

Posted the pics of my flop of a fundraiser LOL
Well I posted the picture of my Fundraiser that didnt work well but hey i did make $300.00 so it wasnt for nothing just a hint though if you plan a fundraiser make sure it isnt on a weekend that somthing else is going on like i did it was fathersday weekend and we did not have alot of customers but hey it was a learning expereince and yes i will do it again just pick out better timming and locations LOL God Bless and stay well

Finaly on the waiting list
Last friday the 12th of June, I called University of Utah and got the greatest news I am on the list. I felt like I would never get there but now it has happened. Wooo Hooo !!!!!!! I will have to go to Utah next month for another scan though because my AFP Levels are 1935, and supose to be between 0-5. So they said to treat it as cancer. So part of me is glad then a big part of me is scared to death. But I know God only gives you what You can handle so I am thinking positve. Just wanted to let e… Continue

4 Months and doing fine

I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that this month is a double anniversary for me. On the 13th I will be 25 years out from my second kidney transplant. December, 25th will mark 30 years post first kidney transplant. It doesn't seem that its been that long ago,I will forever think about the families that made the faithful decision that saved my life and the lives of other complete strangers. I do celebrate on the anniversaries but, I also mourn because of the loss that was e…
