Haven't been riding as much as I like because it's too COLD! (I'm such a wimp.) Anyway, I was in the Treasure Island Tri by doing the bike leg of the relay. It was lots of fun!

Got hit by a car on my way home.
Very lucky maybe only wheel damage I rode out the hit Suv to Rear Wheel. Almost went down.
Fly to Canada Sunday for their Games next week.

I required a liver tx after having Hep C for 20 years. My first tx was a "domino" tx where the living donor required a new liver and I got hers. A blood clot developed with that liver and within a week I received a second tx from a deceased donor. I am forever grateful to all involved.

Palin in book: McCain aides kept me 'bottled up'

The rumors are true, according to Sarah Palin: The McCain-Palin campaign was not a happy family. In Palin's new memoir, "Going Rogue," she confirms reports of tension between her aides and those of the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain. The vice presidential candidate confirms that she had wanted to speak on election night, but was denied the chance and says she was kept "bottled up" from reporters during the campaign.
