If it's any consolation, Paul. My Dr. has some of the best survival rates in the US, and he doesn't believe in steroid-free post-heart transplant treatment.

Finally noticing the effects of my Prednisolone reduction! I've gone from 19st 10 to 17st 10 in a little over 3 months. I hope to be less than 17st by Christmas! Regrettable I'm told I cannot come off the Pred entirely as after 23 yrs my body now...

Im Sara. Graduated C/O 2009 at Whittier High School.
Now a Freshman at CSULA :]
I received a heart transplant when i was only 5wks old.
I am the 85th baby to receive a Heart Transplant under 6 months of age at LLUMC. I do not remember anything about the transplantation process because i was too young. My Life after transplantation is all I've ever known and I would never change anything about my life. I am currently healthy and have been taking good care of my gift for
18 YEARS!
Im outgoing.I <3 shopping. My friends are some of my biggest supporters! They are always there for me.
My family members are all for promoting Organ Donation around the community. My mom is my HERO. She has helped me through the struggles & the pain. She has been there every second joining me in my journey through having a "normal" life.
I have a Chin-wa puppy named Leo. Im in love w/ ANDREW who has been there for me & shared with me some of the happiest moments in my transplant experience. I love meeting new people; especially at the US & World Transplant Games which i feel everyone must be apart of & experience.

The rumors are true, according to Sarah Palin: The McCain-Palin campaign was not a happy family. In Palin's new memoir, "Going Rogue," she confirms reports of tension between her aides and those of the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain.
