WOW we are kindred spirits!!!! Well first of allI hope you had a happy birthday! As for the recovery time well with my illness I tried to protect Kirsten from it as much as possible. Her father and I are divorced so she was with him most of the time I would call her at times for a ride to the dr here or there but for the most part I saw her aboput 2- 3 times a week I wish it was more but I did not want to be selfish andI know it hurt her to see me so weak and sick. When I was transplanted well she was in her SR. year of high school and my hospital is 3-4 hour drive south so with her school and work schedule she only made it down one time I made her wait untill I was staying in the hotel and no more tubes in me. but I hadmy husband call everyday when I couldn't (tubes....ICU) and then I called her I don't know if that was the right thingto do for her or not everyone's different so you'll just need to see what your son wants to do! Thanks for the note!
hope you are well'

Yeah the waiting part I think or believe is the HARDEST part. As it makes you wonder if you can go here or go there, and can I do this or do that. I will tell you that I was planning on going to Branson on Juy 3 of 2006, but that was shot down as I recieved "the call" from Gary Sigle on June 29th, 2006 @ 12:39 pm. So if I would have went sooner than July 3rd, I might of had to miss that opportunity for my 2nd chance. But the grass is "Greener" on the other side of things when you enter the 2nd chance of life stage. I wish you ALL THE BEST with thoughts and PRAYERS.

G'morning Teresa, I hope things are great with you. It was nice to see you at the hOPE meeting a few weeks ago. THANK YOU for the "Thank You" note to the website it was "heart felt". I had tears as I was reading it, as that is what the meetings are all about. Stay strong and keep your head up thing will happen and you will get your "gift" soon.
Thoughts and Prayers,
Mike
