This is my first posting in quite some time. The last 6 months I have been waiting for different things to happen and it has been both an exciting and frustrating time. A friend who became a client of mine at the chiropractor asked me if she could donate one of her kidneys to me; I gladly accepted. She gave 13 vile's of blood and off to the lab it went. About 5 weeks later I got a phone call telling me that my friend was a very good match and that transplant might happen as soon as early Decembe…

I really was thinking positive and was sure numbers would be better this week, I kept telling myself that. I go today, had labs and visited with friends who were also their getting labs. Today was a great day. I come home, coordinator calls me says numbers are high again and even higher than before so I get to go back again next week for labs and MRI. I am not going to let this get to me though. I can handle this.
The other test about my disease wont be back for a week.

My last blog entry detailed how I had begun the long process of losing weight. Although at first it was a rapid loss due to the large drop in my Prednisolone dosage it soon levelled out, however I was losing around 2lbs (1kg) a week.
I detailed how I had ballooned to a weight of 19st 10lbs (125kg), but had managed to lose just over a stone in weight. I was down to 18st 6 back then.
As of today I now weigh in at 17st 6lbs, hence since my last blog entry I have lost another stone in weight. I am…

Hi All!
A little over two weeks ago I signed up for Eharmony and instantly, I was contacted by someone. His name is Jeffrey; he's my age (29) and also works for the state. We made it through the four "stages" on the site and got thru to "Open Communcation." We exchanged numbers and after our very first phone call, he sent me an e-mail asking me out to dinner. Tuesday, October 20, was the date and it went well.
During the date we somehow started talking about scars. I almost said the big T word…

Warning: A lot has been going on with me over the past couple months, some of it good, some of it bad, all of it going seems to continue to on and on
It is a time of good news and bad news for me. First the good news, my one year anniversary was on September 24, 2009. Outside of car accident that left Wendy without her car for a month, it was a good day. Wendy and I visited the hospital, delivered a cake and some thank you cards, and went out to a great dinner at Providence . Actually one of th…
